What to expect at the Consultation

Homeopathy treats you as an individual rather than treating just your symptoms. Because of this it is important during the consultation for me to gather as much information about you as possible and to understand not only about your symptoms but you as a person.
For this reason I may ask questions that seem totally unrelated to your symptoms but will help me to understand how you experience things. To allow you to consider some of the information about you I may need, for example past medical history and family history, I will send you a Questionnaire before your first appointment.

Please allow up to 1 & 1/2 hours for your initial appointment.

After your appointment I will spend time thinking about all the information before I prescribe a suitable remedy for you, which I will then send in the post along with instructions on how to take.

I recommend a follow up appointment usually approximately 4 weeks after taking the remedy to assess your response and progress. These appointments may take up to 1 hour.

I see homeopathy as a journey, and my aim is to help you on your journey to positive health and wellbeing. It is not a quick fix therapy and it may take several consultations before you feel real benefit. If you are new to Homeopathy I therefore recommend you allow at least 3 appointments, to enable us to get to know each other and for you to decide if Homeopathy is right for you.

Home visits may be possible if you are unable to come to me.
